We are three children for our mother & Father.we are in Bangalore. My father having self earned 30*40 site in Bangalore.my father passed away ten years back without any will.now we are planning to sell the same. How we can sell the property to buyer either property change to our mother name & sell or directly to sell. Which is better & Kindly give me legal advice & one by one procedure for both .also we have not paid tax since 2008.what will be the approximate tax for the same( year 2007/2008 in tax paid rs.1500 /-)waiting for your advice.

Hi,
You may get the mutation done in all of your names (mother & siblings), and during this process you will be asked to clear the property tax dues as well. You can find out the tax details by visiting nearest Panchayat/Muncipality/Corporation revenue office.
