I wanted to invest surplus of 5 lakes in mutual fund, for 5 yrs and more,my age is 42,moderate risk profile. I wanted to know if I can invested in liquid fund and then systematically withdrawal particular amount and invest the same in as SIP in selected fund.  But this option is limited to same fund house as per my knowledge,  One option….. I can select different fund of same fund house Or put amount in different fund house in their liquid fund and choose sip funds from those fund house . Kindly note that the STPs are treated as normal redemptions and taxes (if any) are applicable.
