I was in private service for 36 Y 9 months. I attained 58 on 18/05/2015 and my EPF contribution stopped. I applied for pension and in due course my EPS pension started and is in continuation as on today. It is Rs. 2248 p.m. But I feel it is wrong, it should have been more. I do not have any authentic calculation sheet provided by EPFO. How can I become sure of the correct amount? Whom should I contact and how should I go about it? I can provide any more details , if required. I continued my service and got retired on 18/5/2017 at the age of 60.

Dear Hemant ji,
I don't think anyone at EPFO will help us to decode the calculation part!

I have gone through the article. Really it is a good article. But the Excel file is aplicable for old salary limits. It is to be revised for new limit of pensionable salary of Rs. 15000 and that too average of preceeding 60 months.
