Hi I am newbie to in corporate world and i have no knowledge about EPF . For past 7 month i was working in an organisation and there I had only EPF account not the UAN and currently I moved to different organisation where they created a new UAN and new EPF account for me so now i want to attach my UAN to the old EPF account please let me know the clear procedure to do that . Hi, Kindly check with your ex-employer, if they have created UAN number for you, because UAN is mandatory for all employees since sometime in 2015. Anyways, you can just transfer your old EPF account monies to your new EPF a/c which is linked to new UAN. The old UAN (if any) would be automatically deactivated. Dear Saravanan, You need to request your employer to do the necessary update. They in-turn will route the request to the EPFO. So, kindly contact your employer.
