Sorry m still confused about STP .. As you said STP is transferring from debt to equity. If we go for STP from debt to equity how long we have to wait for it? For ex suppose if i have invested 3lakh in debt fund and want to start STP of 10000 every month from it should we start on the spot after inverting or we have to wait for any duration?

Hi, The duration is set by the investor. For example : You can transfer units from Debt fund to Equity fund every month for say next 12 months. By the end of 12 month period, all units from a Debt fund are redeemed and Units of Equity fund are bought.
