Dear Sir, First of all thank you very much for the help that you are doing to many people like me relentlessly. My question is regarding the STCG and LTCG representation in income tax. I have followed your blog that explains the SCTG and LTCG as applicable in mutual fund income(equity/debt). Question: Do I need to fill ITR2 instead of ITR1 for showing of the STCG/LTCG income in income tax?

Hi, Yes, you can declare the Capital Gains in ITR2.
