Hi, I would like invest 25L for long term(20 Years) in MF. Considering present high valuation of the market, what will be your advise on the following :- Lump-sum or SIP ?
  1. Can I follow SIP strategy but manually buying additional units on flexible dates? Idea is to buy only on dips.
  2. Is there any difference in ser. tax etc in auto SIP or manual SIP ?
  3. It will be great if you can recommend few MFs.
Regards, Rahul

Hi, Kindly let's not worry about present status of  financial markets if your investment time-frame is 20 years! 1 - Advisable to follow the mentioned strategy. Personally, I too follow the same. Read: https://www.relakhs.com/my-mutual-fund-portfolio-mf-picks/ https://www.relakhs.com/sip-systematic-investment-plan/ 2 - No. (Also, it may depend on the online platforms you opt, some charge transaction fees and service tax can be applicable for this..) 3 - Kindly go through below articles; https://www.relakhs.com/best-mutual-fund-schemes-2017/ https://www.relakhs.com/best-mutual-fund-scheme-risk-ratios/ https://www.relakhs.com/mutual-fund-portfolio-overlap-comparison-tools/
