"hi, I booked a under-constructed flat in 2014 and from since i am paying EMI on loan. I got offer of possession in March 2017 but physically i will get my flat after fit out period six month. May I claim tax benefit in this FY16-17?

Hi,
If you received PC/OC in March then you can claim one installment of PPI + March EMI as tax benefit (subject to ceiling limit) in FY 2016-17 / AY 2017-18.
