Hello Sree, Very Good Morning and Happy New Year. I have a small clarification on SIP date extension. I have started the below SIP on the following funds with end date as 10/04/2018 through MF Utility.
  • 19851679 Franklin Build India Fund - Direct-GROWTH
  • 2839614/86 L&T Infrastructure Fund Direct Plan - Growth
However, I wanted to extended this date. How can I extend the SIP end date to other date. Is there is any facility to modify the end date in MF Utility itself.? Because I checked in MF Utility. Did not find anything. or else Do I need write an email to MF Utility? Please help me on this. Thanks & Regards, Raja Rajagopal

Dear Raja, I believe that there should be an option to extend the date. As of now, i am not using MFU so not aware of the available features that are in the platform. You may kindly contact their customer care.

Hi Sree,

Good Morning.

Once again for this year, investment. I have the following SIP’s. Currently I have only retirement plan. Shall I continue my SIP’s with same funds. Or Do I need to any changes?

Franklin Build India Fund – Direct Plan Rs.1000
L&T Infrastructure Fund – Direct Plan Rs.1000

ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund Rs. 2000

Franklin India Prima Plus Fund – Direct Plan Rs. 3000

Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund – RP Rs.2000
IDFC Premier Equity Fund – RP Rs. 2000

Franklin India Smaller Companies Fund Rs. 2000

HDFC Balanced Fund – Direct Plan Rs. 2000

I know very well, I have too much of fund in my portfolio. But somehow, I have started with my agent. Most of the funds started on 2016.

Please advise on this.

Also I had invested 1,00,000 in Tamil Nadu Power Finance & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. and now it got matured with 1,19,150. Planning to re-invest this amount in the same for 2 years. Kindly advise me on this too.

Thanks & Regards,
Raja Rajagopal

Dear Raja, Portfolio looks fine. Keep on eye on IDFC Premier fund and its performance. For a 2 year investment time-frame, you may consider Ultra short term (or) Short term debt funds. Ex  : Franklin low duration fund etc.,

Thanks Sree. will consider the same. Mean while, Could you please suggest me a fund where I can invest this amount.

Thanks,
Raja Rajagopal

Dear Raja, As mentioned in my previous answer, you may consider Short term debt fund like Franklin Low Duration fund and/or Conservative MIP funds like SBI MIP- Floater fund.
