Dear Sreekanth, First of all, I want to convey my heartfelt gratitude to what you are doing. You are making a difference in many people lives. I never knew about mutual funds until I accidentally stumbled upon your website. I am a scientist and never thought of retirement. Your website was an eye opener. My wife and I are investing for the past 1 year in the following mutual funds. These are for our long term goals, and we intend to keep them for at least 15 years if not more. Axis long term equity Franklin India prima plus Franklin small companies fund Franklin feeder fund HDFC balanced fund HDFC midcap opportunities fund. I am a little concerned about having three funds in Franklin. I want to remove one. I am thinking, I should remove Franklin prima plus, and invest in some other fund house. Which one would you recommend? I want to invest in another large cap oriented multicap fund. Kindly suggest. Thanks in advance, Praveen

Dear Praveen, Thank you for your appreciation, kind & motivating words :) Axis LTE though it is an ELSS fund (for tax saving) it can be considered as a multi-cap fund.  Franklin Prima plus is also a diversified fund (but currently its portfolio has higher allocation to Large cap). So, considering your investment horizon, you may invest the additional sums in other existing funds itself like Mid cap or small cap funds.
