Hi, Would like to get your advice on PF withdrawal After seven years of service ,I resigned from my previous company on August 2017  and joined current company on September 2017,Under service history of My UAN profile I can view both member ids and I opted transfer the funds from previous account to current one online last week and still status shows "Submitted" Due to some medical emergencies I need to withdraw RS 200000 ( Have RS 380000 in First account and 50000 in the current one ) is it ok if  I go-ahead and apply for partial withdrawal online  for 200000 before the transfer is completed? Best regards Anup

Dear Anup, I believe that if the transfer is under-process, the EPFO may consider the current EPF ac balance for partial withdrawal purposes. And for the purpose of ‘medical treatment’, the least of 6 months basic wages (or) employee share with interest is allowed as partial withdrawal. There are chances that the EPFO may intimate you through a message about the consolidation of your epf accounts (which you have already submitted and is in process). Kindly go through the process flow chart for online claims, available in the below article : https://www.relakhs.com/online-epf-claim-facility-conditions/

Thank you so much for your advice Sreekanth, I will wait for the transfer to complete and then will apply for withdrawal.
