Hi sreekanth, I need to apply for partial withdrawal of my pf account. I had completed 5 years in my previous organisation and recently had transferred the old pf amount to the current pf account. Now my question is , if i need to withdraw partial amount then should i need Pan updated in the epf member portal ? right now its unverified. Heard that if u are going to withdraw partial amount without PAN verified they will deduct 34 % is it true ? Please let me know your thoughts on this.?

Now you can do EPF Withdrawal Online! On 1 May 2017, Labour Day, EPFO announced. When an employee applies for EPF claim online then it takes 4-15 days to get the PF amount into the bank account. When an employee applies for the claim in offline mode then it takes 20-30 days. To draw back your PF from the UAN gateway, you should be jobless for at least 60 days before documenting a withdrawal guarantee. The EPFO permits fractional withdrawal too.On the off chance that you are jobless for at least 60 days, you can apply for withdrawal of your epf .If you wish to pull back your EPF without PAN( apply here ) confirmation on EPFO site.
