Dear Mr Shreekanth, We are facing a crisis in the home for the moment of having no job/ monthly income. I need your advice urgently. I have a lumpsum of money set aside close to 15 lakhs. Please guide me to invest it in a way to get a monthly income of 10-15 k. I read ur article on MIP n was interested in that. My mom is a housewife n all investments are made in her name. She is exempted from tax. Please advice. We need this arrangement for temporary. Thank you.

Hi, How long would you like to get fixed and regular income on this corpus?  Is it ok if you invest in an investment avenue where the money gets locked for say 5 to 6 years but you get fixed / guaranteed monthly income?

Hi, You may consider setting up SWP (Systematic Withdrawal plan) for Ultra Short term Debt funds. Kindly note that SWP redemptions are treated as normal redemptions and any gains are taxable. You may consider Franklin Ultra Short Bond fund.  Kindly read : https://www.relakhs.com/debt-funds-types-benefits-risk-vs-return/ https://www.relakhs.com/best-debt-mutual-funds-india-top-debt-funds/ https://www.relakhs.com/mutual-funds-taxation-rules-capital-gains-tax-rates-on-mfs-fy-201516/
