Hi,
For how long (number of years) you would like to receive Rs 45,000 monthly income?
Is this Rs 50 Lakh your retiral benefits? or through any other sources?

I would like to get income for next 20 years.
The amount is from my land. Please tell the TDS procedure also. I am planning to invest each 10 lac in 5 members of our family.
Hi,
If Rs 50 Lakh is invested at expected return of 9% , assuming 8% inflation, then you can get around Rs 22k per month for next 20 years.
So, the target return is 9% (conservative figure).
You consider options like upcoming secured NCDs with non-cumulative and monthly interest payment options. I guess Indiabulls is coming up with latest NCD on 15th September. You may invest portion of your corpus in this. The expected returns are around 9%.
If any of your family member is a Senior citizen then can consider Post office Sr. Citizen Savings scheme. Can also consider PO MIS Scheme.
You may take a little bit of risk and can invest in MIP Mutual fund - Growth optin with monthly Systematic Withdrawal Plan.
Kindly be aware of the tax implications of all these investments.
