Following is my SIP (Rs 5000) Portfolio of MF started recently. I can stay continued for about 8-10 years.
Birla sunlife frontline Equity Fund growth
ICICI Pr Focused Bluechip fund growth
Franklin India Prima Plus growth
ICICI Pr Value Disc fund growth
HDFC Midcap Fund growth
Franklin Prima fund growth
Franklin India smaller companies fund growth
HDFC balanced fund growth
ICICI Pr balanced fund growth
Please do advise me with your valuable suggestions

Hi,
All the above listed funds are good ones. However, investing in too many funds that too from same fund category may lead to higher overlap of funds' portfolios.
For example:
Birla sunlife frontline Equity Fund growth & ICICI Pr Focused Bluechip fund growth belong to Large-cap fund category. Their portfolios overlap by around 57%. Hence it is prudent to pick either of the two and you may discontinue one.
