After brainstorming for quite sometime now, I am on my way to trim my portfolio to just 4 funds from 14. My investment horizion is about 10 to 12 years and is for retirement.
After reading several articles, I realize i have made plenty of mistakes. So Kindly advise if this portfolio looks Ok.
HDFC Hybrid + Mirae Hybrid 25% each ie Total : 50% of the Equity portfolio.
(I have deliberately kept two hybrid as it is from different fund houses and style looks different. HDFC fairly plays safe, while the Mirae is bit aggressive.).
Parag Parikh Long Term : 30%
UTI Nifty Next 50: 20%
So my final portfolio allocation : Hybrid : 50% Multi Cap : 30% , Index: 20%
