I will slot myself as an investor with Average Risk appetite.
  1. I do not have presence in MIPs. I and my husband are in our 50s.  Can I invest in top MIPs with a 3 year horizon.
2.  Also let me know your opinion on ultra short funds/short funds for a 6 month horizon.

Hi, 1 - If you are ok to take little bit of risk, you may consider MIP - conservative funds. Ex : SBI MIP - Floater. Aggressive MIPs funds can have little more risk.
