I h've decided to invest in mutual funds through the platform provided by "Aditya Birla money My universe" , here I will be able to invest only in Regular Plans,that means my return margin will be less compared to Direct Plan,but I will get the assistance of Financial Advisor, as assured by the Aditya birla customer support team.I also want to highlight that I am new to mutual funds,but your blogs h've really helped me to gain some information about mutual funds,I need your opinion that whether I should go ahead with this, or you can suggest some other platform ( other than aditya birla...) which can be more helpful to a beginner,or I should invest in Direct Plans .

Aditya Birla's My Universe platform offers bouquet of investment options, not just equity. So, if you are comfortable investing through them, would like to invest in other products as per your requirements, need assistance, then you may kindly go ahead and register with them.
Yes, direct plans can give you slightly better returns than Regular options. There are certain online platforms who assist investors in choosing DIRECT PLANS too at a nominal fee.
Off-late, quite a few new portals have been launched through which you can buy Direct Plans. Below are some of them;
