Hi, I have invested some money in mf. But as we diversify our money in different mf categories do we have any other ways/ options to invest money? SBI saving acc interest rate is now 3.5% only so its like wasting our idle money if we keep in savings account. Kindly advice other options of investment Also is it okay to invest only in mf if you don't have much knowledge of other ways?

Hi from total investment of 20lacs i have invested 2.5 lacs in hdfc balanced & 2.5 in icici balanced fund Then i invest 5 lacs in icici liquid fund & setup STP for icici value discovery fund 3lacs in BSL cash plus & set STP for BSL advantage fund & BSL mip II Wealth 25 & i have 3 SIPs running SBI Bluechip : 4k Franklin india smaller co. 3k SBI multicap : 3k I want to keep 20lacs in saving for this SIPs and want to invest rest 5lacs I read your article of best investment options. For real estate its not enough money. So i want to ask is gold is good option at present? Or i just invest more just in mutual funds only? Thanks

I mean to say keep 2lacs for SIPs not 20

Hi, May I know your investment time-frame? Currently you have 2 balanced funds, 3 multi-cap funds, one large cap and one small cap fund. Also, you have one MIP Fund. Hi want to invest for >= 5 years And goal is wealth creation. And i checked the overlap tool most has over lap of < 20% except sbi blue chip fund. It has 35-36% of overlap with bsl advantage fund and icici value discovery fund. Is it ok or should i make any changes?

I still want to invest the rest 5 lacs should i think about in other investment like gold or increase the investment in mf only?
