Hi Sreekanth, First of all, thanks for your superb blog. I want to invest Rs 50000/- lump sum and Rs 5000/- SIP for 3 years time horizon. Which mutual funds do you suggest?. Or should i go with conventional FD and RD. thanks Ashish

Hi, You may consider an MIP fund. Kindly understand the risks associated with MIP & tax implications. However, If you can afford to take medium risk on these investments, you may consider an Equity oriented balanced fund both for lump sum as well as SIPs. If your investment objective is safety of capital + some returns, you may consider FD/RD.
