Dear Sreekanth Sir , I am a Senior citizen, have funds in PPF account with post office which is active for 15 plus 5 years already. I want to withdraw the month now. if I withdraw, will I get interest for the period 1-4-18 to 31-10-2018 or else I will loose the interest for this period and I should withdraw only on 01-04-2019.. regards

Dear Sir, Yes, you will get the interest amount in the accumulated balance till the date of your withdrawal. Interest will be calculated on the minimum balance in your account between the 5th and the last day of every month.
