Hi, Could you please suggest , will be there any Income Tax on Interest amount that earned on PF/VPF? At this point I am not seeing any tax on my savings, but as years pass-on and amount get accumulated into principal amount may get more interest so just want to check on this. Regards RRK

Hi, PF/VPF/PPF falls under Exempt-Exempt -Exempt category. However, kindly note that any EPF withdrawals (full) before 5 years of contribution period, are taxable.
