Sir,
suppose I start a sip under a equity fund under an AMC in this year and after 3 years if the AMC will close his business and any other AMC will takeover it(eg,- JP MORGAN - EDELWEISS CASE) , then what should I do at that time? Is their any risk to invest?

Dear,
Your money will safe, as the mutual fund industry is a very well regulated one.
But the question would be if the funds are going to perform better or under-perform compared to their past performances, is the main thing that we need to be worried off.
Because the business may be run by a new team (Fund mangers) and we do need to keep an eye on consistency of returns (if already invested).
If I have to shortlist funds for new investments, I would prefer to wait before selecting the schemes for investments. Instead I would select other fund house schemes as there is shortage of well-performing mutual fund schemes.
May I know your opinion?
Sir,
I completely agree with your view. As I am a new investor in the mutual fund industry I have not that much idea for selecting right fund and fund house also. Instead of that I have invested in two sip schemes under one mutual fund house i.e 1) uti mnc 2) uti mid cap . are they good funds under uti fund house?
