Thanks Sreekant for your response provided earlier. Few more questions i have. a) till fy 15-16 in my ITR i was showing co owner share as 95% in my name and 5% in my spouse name. For the current ITR if i change this proportion as 65% in my name and 35% in spouse name, will that be fine? b) Current year i have paid around 1.8 lacs as interest on home loan. Can this amount be claimed by both that is myself and spouse 1.8lacs each, or whether this amount needs be claimed proportionately. c) Rental income which i have received during fy 1617, will the same be shown as income from house property or income from other sources. Note both the property is situated in same city that is bangalore.

Hi, a ) Kindly refer to my previous response (in different thread). b) If the total interest payment is around Rs 1.8 Lakh then how can you claim Rs 1.8 Lakh each (ie Rs 3.6 Lakh). You can claim it proportionately based on the ownership share. c) It has to be included in 'income from house property' calculation only.
