Dear Jothi, If you have a time-frame of around 5 years, you may consider adding a Balanced Fund (Equity oriented) to your Portfolio. If you need the money in 5 years for the said Goals, you may switch from Equity funds to Debt or other safe avenues, may be 1 year before the Goal target year. Dear Sir, Thanks for your reply. I am not interested to switch over from the existing SBI schemes to New schemes. I wish to add new fund schemes in my portfolio. I selected  BIRLA SUNLIFE and DSP BLACKROCK fund  house. Please suggest me the good fund scheme which can give me the good profit in another 3-5 years.Expecting your reply as soon as possible please. Dear Jothi, I have suggested you to ADD the balanced fund to your existing portfolio. Regarding the SWITCH, I was referring to, after 3 to 4 years from now. For example: If your goal year is 2021, you may invest in Equity funds till say 2020 and you may consider moving to other safe options so that your accumulated corpus can be safe.

Hi, You may consider Birla Sun life Balanced 95 fund (in balanced fund category). Kindly note that there are better fund in this category than this fund. Since you have asked for funds in Birla AMC, I am suggesting this one.  

Dear sir, Thanks for your suggestion. If there is a profitable scheme in other AMC please advice me. As a new investor i dont have much knowledge about mutual funds.
