Dear sir,
Greetings! This is to thank you for your tireless services in educating the general public enlightening on various issues.
I like very much in going through all your articles.
I wish you a happy new year and more successful year ahead.
I also take this opportunity to ask you some clarification on my issue of health insurance. I had applied for Freedom Care policy from Religare health insurance company duly mentioning my existing deseases like Hypertension, Diabetes. However, the policy issued shoes existing deseases as NONE. When questioned them the verification department says that those are not critical and hence not required to be mentioned to avoid declining policy by Underwriters. They said, Nonetheless, under this policy, any and all existing deseases are covered after two years waiting period.
As I am confused, please clarify if this is acceptable or should I cancel the policy. As i have always read that existing desease if any to be clearly mentioned in the proposal form.
Your valuable suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Gilbert Pinto

Dear Gilbert,
Thank you for following my blog posts and for the wishes!
You too have a great 2018 ahead!
Very good question, suggest you to check with their customer care and ask something in written about their statement.
I too believe and agree with you, the existing diseases (if any, mentioned in proposal form) should be clearly stated in the Policy certificate/document as well.
Thank you very much sir, for the prompt clarification/advise.
