Hi, “For the purpose of ‘medical treatment’, the least of 6 months basic wages (or) employee share with interest is allowed as partial withdrawal.” Based on my blog readers' responses, even if PF member claims higher amount than the eligible amount, the EPFO may approve the claim limiting the amount as per the above rule.   Related articles : https://www.relakhs.com/epf-partial-withdrawal-medical-illness/ https://www.relakhs.com/epf-partial-withdrawals-epf-loan-rules/
