ELSS

Rony asked 8 years ago
Hello, I don't have an ELSS fund. I have a PPF fund but I haven't invested anything in it this year. As the markets are high, is it advisable to invest 50k each month in an ELSS fund for Jan-Feb-Mar 2018 to reach my 1.5lac limit for IT deduction? If your answer is yes, please suggest a suitable ELSS fund. My age: 44. Risk profile: Neutral. My other MF investments are: 1) ABSL Balanced 95 Fund (G): 6.5lacs 2) Reliance Balanced Fund (G): 6.5 lacs 3) HDFC Balanced Fund (G): 4.5 lacs

Hi, May I know your investment objective (besides tax saving) and time-frame for these investments? May I know, if you are aware of the risks associated with Equity oriented funds? Kindly read : https://www.relakhs.com/investment-planning-investment-plan/

Yes I am aware of the risks associated.
Investment objective (apart from tax-saving) will be long term wealth creation.
Time-frame: 10 years.
