Hi, You can visit the respective Municipality/Corporation Revenue office and apply for Mutation transfer. You need to submit mutation transfer application, a copy of Sale deed, last paid tax receipt etc.,  Kindly read : https://www.relakhs.com/mutation-property-transfer-title-records/

Hi, I believe that there is no need to submit death certificate of previous seller.  You can just submit a copy of sale deed (which is in your name), latest Encumbrance certificate and last tax paid receipt. Suggest you to take help of a local civil lawyer or real estate agent. May be the Revenue staff are expecting some EXTRA payment!
