Hi
I watch shows related to mutual funds on cnbc + read articles on your website and other mf related websites too so can i go for direct plans based on these knowledge?
Bank managers suggesting me to go for combination that is FD + MF but as we all know fd rates are falling down so why should i go for fds?
And the way they give me suggesions some times I feel they will get commission by our investment thats why they give options based on their profit. Is it so? Coz what they suggest me when i compare to mf websites or tv shows i don't find those are correct schemes to invest.
Thank you

Hi,
Investing in FDs/RDs for long-term goals can be avoided.

Yes, bankers do get commission on the financial products sold by them.
Suggest you to just pick 2 to 4 good mutual funds (Direct plans) based on your goals and keep a track of them.
