Hi Sree, Thanks for the articles on your website and cool advices you have been giving to the fellow friends. Request your advice on Building my portfolio. I have Invested in below Mutual funds so far and as per today's NAV, below is the amount. DSP BLACKROCK MICRO CAP FUND - REGULAR - GROWTH   (INR 35,230) Franklin India Opportunities Fund-Growth         (INR 32,177) KOTAK SELECT FOCUS FUND - REGULAR PLAN - GROWTH   (INR 64,965) ICICI PRUDENTIAL BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES FUND - RETAIL - GROWTH- 10203750/10 (INR 152,914) L&T MIDCAP FUND - GROWTH                         (INR 1,54,056) PRINCIPAL EMERGING BLUECHIP FUND - GROWTH         (INR 1,53,948) Total Amount in Mutual Funds                       (INR  6,00,572) I am NRI and I usually invest lumpsum and planning to invest around 1-2 Lakhs in HDFC Balanced Fund. Can you please suggest, If I need to make any corrections to my Portfolio ? Thanks in Advance.

Hi Sree,

Thanks for the response.
I have 2 Goals , My age is 35 and I have kid of 7 Years old.

1. Kids College Education : corpus of 35 Lakhs in 12 Years.
2. Retirement corpus of 1 Crore by retirement in next 25 years.

please suggest.

The other listed funds are good ones. However, kindly be aware of the high risks associated with Sector oriented (banking) funds.
