Bifurcation of Property Khata responsibility

Hello, When an apartment is developed by the builder and sold to individual owners, who should own the responsibility of bifurcating the khata that is originally in the builder's name?  Is it the responsibility of Builder or individual owners should come together and get it done?

Hi, There is no right or wrong answer! Ideally, the builder (assuming the land is in his name) has to get the Khatha registered in his name for individual flats and can then help the individual Flat owners to get it transferred..
