Hi,
I have gone through your coverage on BDA's eAuction process. It is really well covered. Thanks for that.
I am planning to participate in eAuction. I had couple of queries:
- If I dont win the bid, in how many days, the EMD amount (Rs. 4 lakh) will be refunded by BDA?
- Let us say we are bidding for a 40x60 site as a group , after registration can we bifurcate the side among the group? If so, is it legal and what is the process for the same?
- Is there a service available to have a look at the current bid price before we deposit the EMD? This will help us to know whether the bid is still within our reach.

Dear Vikram,
1 - I have observed that BDA generally refunds the amount within 2 weeks (from the date of e-auction).
2 - I believe that after Registration fo site, you may have to first apply for Khata Registration and then can apply for site bifurcation (with separate Khata certificates). Minimum site measurement should be 600 sq ft.
3 - No. You need to pay EMD then only you will be given access to bid/e-procurement portal.

Thanks Sreekanth for the quick response.
One more question:
- What happens in a scenario where the winner of the bidder fails to get the site registered in his name. Will BDA call for a fresh auction of the site or will the second highest bidder wins the bid?
