Hi S,
Firstly if this question is a duplicate from my end, excuse, i had some net issues. I am in a quandary as to what to do with the ICICI Lombard share allotment that I have surprisingly received in the recent IPO. Surprising, as I apply to many IPOs but never get allotted anything ever. so I was casual about this, as I had read that the issue price is over valued, i felt i anyway never get allotted. Now that I have been allotted, i would like to know if i exit early itself after the stock getting listed or do i hold on to it for long term. I am not looking for crazy returns, average is good. I am fine as long as I do not end up loosing. Let me know your thoughts please.

Hi,
ICICI Lombard stock is due to start trading on September 27. So, let's how it is going to make its debut!
I generally do not provide my views on direct equity.
Looking at the overall insurance penetration levels, general insurance companies have a great scope in a growing economy like India.
The overall long term view for insurance companies looks good, as of now.
On a lighter note, as this is your first allotment, why not hold on to these shares for long-term?? Cheers....
