Hi , Can you please suggest few lump sum investment plans which give you more then return from FD.
Some one has suggested HDFC prudence balanced found dividend options , if I invest 1lakh in that ,it will give monthly 923 dividend and 7 %interest on total amount ,so total amount earned after one year is 11076+7000=18076 . Is this true?. Suggest any good investment plans for 1 to 2 year for lump sum investment.

Are you expecting periodic / regular income from this investment? May I know if you are highly dependent on such income?

Hi,
If periodic income is not your objective (ie dividend income), you may opt for Short term debt fund. These type of funds can give you returns of around 6 to 8% in 2 years.
Ex : Franklin Low Duration Fund.
