Hi Shreekant, I have invested in lumpsum as below: HDFC balance Fund: 450000 Franklin Smaller companies :200000 I have another 250000 and I am thinking to invest in L&T value fund or HDFC Midcap Opportunities Fund. I dont need this money atleast for 10 years and purpose is only  wealth generation. If you suggest any fund other than these two that is also OK.

Hi, Kindly note that based on SEBI norms, there have been lot of changes being proposed for mutual fund schemes. For ex : HDFC Balanced fund is renamed as HDFC Hybrid Equity fund. Suggest you to kindly continue with your investments in two existing funds. You may consider adding one Diversified Equity fund to your portfolio. No official email from HDFC about the renaming of the HDFC balanced fund. This is bit concerning. Thanks for enlightening the readers. Appreciate it.
