PF withdrawal Issue

anoopvijay36@gmail.com asked 7 years ago
Hello All, Do we have an option to withdraw the PF amount through EPFO offices? I tried applying the withdrawal through online but unable to link my PAN card with UAN due to the name mismatch. Changed the name in PAN card and still facing the same issue. Do I need to pay 34% tax if I withdraw without linking the Pan Card? My Aadhar and Pan card is already linked and the Aadhar is linked with my UAN, in this do I still need to pay the 34% tax? Kindly help me if there are any resolution for the issue and option to withdraw my PF amount. Currently I am working abroad and your guidance will really help me. Regards, Anoop

Dear Anoop, Yes, you can route your claim form through your ex-employer (or) can mail (post) the claim form to the concerned EPFO regional office (where your EPF a/c is being administered). You can enclose copies of PAN card and Aadhaar along with the Composite Claim form. Regarding Tax implications, you may go through below articles, can be useful to you;
