Whenever we ask investment for 3yrs mostly we are adviced for debt Mutual fund.
ELSS funds are for 3years lock in.
So when we want to do lump sum investment what should we choose debt or ELSS?

Hi,
Let's not compare debt funds with equity funds.
Though ELSS funds have a lock-in period of 3 years, ideally it is advisable to invest in them for longer period, say 5 + years.
If you have an investment time-frame of around 3 years, debt funds / MIP funds / Debt oriented hybrid funds / arbitrage funds can be considered.
