Invested in Equity funds of HDFC, Birla, Sundaram, SBI and Franklin  and a total of around 3.5 Lakhs all in Lump sum how far should we consider the political situation as of today if 10 to 15 percent correction happens should i selloff out of fear of loosing or keep quite for sometime all my investments are less than a year by now.

Hi, If at all if there is a full fledged war, it will surely have an impact on stock markets. The reaction can be very strong (negatively). But kindly note that we do not have sufficient data on 'impact of wars on Indian markets'. But if you are investing for long-term say >10 years or >15 years, kindly buy whenever you see an opportunities like these. Personally, I have bought few additional units in my existing Mutual funds when markets were down couple of days back due to Air strikes by India. Don't invest at one go. You can continue with your investments and can make additional investments in installments.
