But, watchout for tax implications when you are redeeming the units from a Liquid fund to index fund.

This investment is for my future only, so no particular time frame. So this will be my long time investments. I have other MFs also in my portfolio but I was confused about these Axis MF only. So if I stop Axis Bluechip fund then for lumpsum amount investing in some AXIS liquid and then STP to UTI Nifty index fund would be a right approach?

Firstly, kindly dont take decisions based on the short-term over/under performance of a mutual fund scheme.

Yes, some of the earlier popular Axis MF schemes are underperforming now. 

Suggest you to consider switching to a large cap index fund instead of an actively managed Bluechip fund.

Ex : UTI Nifty index fund (or) Axis Nifty 50 index fund from the same fund house.

As of now, you may hold on to the other fund.

By the by, may I know your investment objective and time-frame? Have you linked these investments to any of your financial goals?

  I have two SIPs of rs 10000 each (one in my name and other in my wife's name). Both SIPs started on December,2021.

  Axis BlueChip Fund - SIP - Rs10000

  Axis Mid Cap fund - SIP - Rs10000

Both MFs are not performing well. Shall I continue my SIP as I started in dec 2021 only or shall I stop and investing in some other funds?

 

If you suggest to stop then which fund should I invest in same category of funds?

And where to invest the lumpsum amount which I will get from these funds? Do I need to invest it in any liquid fund and STP to any other equity fund? What is the best option I have.
